Works comprised of taking an existing exhibit at Sealife Center Weymouth designed to house crocodiles and modifying the internal layout to ensure its fit for its new incumbents, 20 Fairy Penguins, including a purpose-built service area.

 

This required internal walls to be removed and the existing pool to be fully re-modelled and lined, new lighting and wiring, and new client access installed complete with acrylic viewing panels and re-decorated throughout.

 

External works were conducted to allow the penguins freedom to enjoy sandy areas for burrowing with fox-proof fences built on the perimeter and bird netting fitted to ensure the safety of the penguins.
